IAN LOVE | DESIGN

Hand carved furniture and art made from eastern long island locally sourced felled trees. All the trees were going to be thrown away or made into firewood. I try to use every aspect of each tree I get leaving very little waste. This process allows me to use these trees in new ways I typically wouldn’t yielding more experimental pieces.

SCULPTURES

Collection of six wooden sculptures of varying heights and shapes, some with rounded or tapered forms, displayed on a white surface against a plain wall.
A tall, black wooden sculpture with a textured surface and an oval-shaped hole near the top, standing on a concrete floor against a white wall.
A man with long hair and glasses is sitting on the floor next to a large sculpture made of stacked wooden blocks. The sculpture is positioned against a white brick wall and consists of several rounded, irregularly shaped wooden pieces.
